Ramona and Beezus was a terrifical little movie. As a child, I read everyone of Beverly Cleary’s books. I would wait on pins and needles for library day so I could check out another one. Well a little over twenty-eight years has passed since that wonderful time and I got to finally see it on the big screen. It was well worth the wait. Joey King was absolutely enchanting to watch. I hope her career really takes off because I would love to see what else she can do. I was mesmerized by her facial expressions and the way she delivered her lines was incredible.
Parents, if you want to take your little ones to see a fun, light movie, take them to Ramona. They did a great job of throwing in little lessons for tike’s to learn but they also had some fun stuff for the adults. I found myself laughing out loud numerous times.
Beware, I’m about to spoil something for you and it has to do with a pee time I submitted. In the movie Ramona has an old kitty by the name of Picky Picky. The cat is Ramona’s confidant when she needs someone to talk to. Picky Picky is sixteen years old and he dies in the movie. It’s a terribly sad scene and the little girl sitting next to me actually started bawling. I submitted this time just in case you don’t want your child dealing with this situation. Hope you enjoy!

Watch Ramona and Beezus Movie
Ramona and Beezus is an adaptation of the very famous children’s books of 60s, and later on. The books which were written by Beverly Cleary started from the character Henry Huggins’ point of view and Beezus was one of his best friends. These books presented Ramona as the villain. When the sisters became famous, the Beezus and Ramona series started, from Beezus’ point of view. However, Ramona was much more popular than Beezus and the focus of the series turned to Ramona. The film uses the name Ramona first due to this popularity. It stars Selena Gomez as Beatrice ‘Beezus’ Quimby and Joey King as Ramona Quimby. In Ramona and Beezus, what we expect is what we get: a comedy, family film which ensures the audience to leave the theatre with a big smile in their faces along with their children.

LOVED this movie! I laughed and cried! Love that it is rated G! I can’t wait until it comes out on DVD so I can buy it! I have my own Ramona like 7 year old at home, so it just makes me smile. I loved the end when they were all dancing. What song were they playing? Thanks!
BIG R
LOVED this movie also. The special affects were a little cheesy but the rest was really charming. And that cat, Icky Picky or Picky Picky, whatever, acted just like a cat. Very well done, adorable and beleivable. I wonder how they did that?
