Imaginary is an aptly named movie. It’s a storyline we haven’t seen much of in years past, so it hasn’t been played out yet. That said, it’s difficult to make a teddy bear scary. However, Jason Blum gave it a pretty good shot.

The acting was on par with a movie of this type, with the children carrying the movie. If I had to compare Imaginary to something, I would say it’s like Ted became evil and everyone fell down Alice’s rabbit hole.

I’m not upset that I had to watch this movie, but I probably won’t jump to watch it again. Blumhouse makes some of my favorite movies, so I was a bit let down with the lack of scares. But it was a nice way to pass an hour and 45 minutes. But probably better suited to watching it when it streams.
