Caught Stealing is one of those very good movies that I find hard to enjoy, mostly because of some torture scenes. The movie feels real. There’s no glamor or exceptional heroism typical of so many Hollywood movies.
The acting is superb, by everyone across the board, from the minor characters to the star, Austin Butler. This can only be attributed to a great script and direction.

What impressed me the most is how little details in the beginning are given meaning in the end. About halfway through the movie, I really just wanted to do my job, find the Peetimes, and get out. But by the end, I didn’t want it to be over.
Grade: A
About The Peetimes: It wasn’t easy to find Peetimes for this movie, but I managed three that work pretty well.
The first and third are the best.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Caught Stealing.
