Did you stay to the very bitter end of Endgame? There’s some speculation about what that hammer sound was at the end of the credits in Avengers: Endgame. Is it something we’ll find out in an upcoming movie? Could be. But that hammering-on-metal audio clip sure does sound a lot like this scene from Iron Man 1 — the MCU movie that kicked everything off eleven years ago. What do you think?

Starting this weekend, the trailer for Spiderman: Far From Home plays after the end credits of Endgame. However, I’m not sure if the hammer sound extra will still be played near the end of the credits.

Brilliant idea with great information

I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

  1. I think you’re right. When I heard it, my mind went to Eitri from Infinity War, the giant dwarf who built Mjolnir, The Infinity Gauntlet, and Stormbreaker (which we saw him making on Nidavellir), and wondering if we’d see a new superweapon in MCU’s Phase 4.

But thinking about how Endgame is really about the end of an era, and things coming full circle, I’m with you now about it being Tony Stark making his first Iron Man suit…”in a cave…from spare parts!” So I’ve definitely jumped ship.

I thought it was Morgan , his daughter , making her suit to take his place as Iron Man … 🙂

    1. That would be really awesome. Let’s hope that’s it.

Mom is going to be PISSED! 🙂

May 17th and I saw Endgame again. They played both the hammer sound and the Spiderman trailer.
