Many consider the RunPee app “the” essential movie app, because we tell you when to Run and Pee during a movie so you don’t have to worry about missing the best scenes. Peetimes are—and always will be—our core feature, but the app also does so much more. We’ll get to the whole lot more part in a moment. Right now you’re probably wondering, seriously? Peetimes? How’s this kind of weird movie magic even possible?

Information overload
Tap on the flick you’re interested in and you’ll see the Movie Info Screen (below). You’ll find many of the ancillary features of the RunPee app: Anything Extra, Peeple’s Poll, IMDb, and RottenTomatos info. For now, let’s press the “View Peetimes” button at the bottom.
Peetimes: this is what you’re here for.
Find out the best time you can run and pee during a movie. These are called Peetimes.
Let’s take a closer look at exactly what a Peetime looks like.
Here’s a Peetime starting precisely at 23minutes and 5 seconds into the movie when: Bond says, “You’ll never see me again,” and the train door closes.
That scene is your Cue that thePeetime has begun. (We do our very best to make sure these cues are non spoilery.)
You have 3 minutes and 55 seconds to take care of business or refresh your drink, and along the hallway you can tap on the Peetime and read a detailed, but brief, Synopsis of what you missed. That way you can return to your seat, ready to enjoy the rest of the movie — without feeling lost.
(Read more details about Peetimes.)
Built-in Timer
If you’re thinking: geez, I’m going to forget this Cue during the movie, then don’t worry—because we have you covered. The RunPee app has a built-in Timer to remind you of each upcoming Peetime.
30 seconds before each Peetime, you will get a notification/vibration on your phone, so you’ll know it’s now time to keep an eye/ear out for your Cue to get up and slip out. What could be better?
(Read more about the built in Timer.)
Anything Extra?
Actually, I know what could be better: if the RunPee app also informed you what, if anything, there is to see during the End Credits. And if those scenes are worth waiting for. Wouldn’t that be great? Wait: RunPee does this too! We call this bonus feature “Anything Extra.”
(What counts as anything extra? Good question. Read more here.)
The RunPee app has a lot of additional benefits to help improve your movie-going experience, but before we get to that, you may have seen Peecoins in some of the pictures above…and you’re wondering: Great, just how much is this going to cost me? The answer is: nothing!
You can use the RunPee app for free if that’s what you would like. You have the option to view advertisements in the app. If you don’t want to bother with ads, you can purchase Peecoins in bundles of 10 for $1 — up to 40 Peecoins at a time. One Peecoin = one movie, always. Either way, the choice is up to you.
(Read more about Peecoins and supporting the RunPee Family and app.)
But wait, there’s more.
Want to check out the IMDb.com or RottenTomatos.com data for this movie? We put that info right at your fingertips. Just select the movie you’re interested in on the Movie List screen which will take you to the Movie Info screen. Now just scroll down a tad and you’ll see buttons to the info you want.
Peeple’s Poll
The RunPee app is unique, so we had to add a unique movie poll. Our poll asks you what your expectation is for a movie, before you see it, and then asks you your final grade for the movie when it’s over. You can see the cumulative expectation/final rating by all users, plus a breakdown by your age and gender. For instance, if you’re a 35-year-old woman we’ll show you what other women about your age think of a movie.
