Last night I think a miracle happened. I need to give you a little bit of backstory before I give you my review on X.
For years, I’ve battled with my feelings towards any movie A24 releases. I’ve basically hated them all and threatened my brother that I would quit if he made me do another one. This is where the story gets interesting. I’m currently on vacation, having the time of my life when I get a message from RunPee Dan. (AKA…my brother) He needs me to see a movie due to the number of releases this week and he’s simply a weenie when it comes to horror flicks. So me being the wonderful sister I am agree to do it. I search the closest theater to my hotel and it’s over an hour’s drive from me, but that’s cool, I love my brother so I’ll do it. I’ve now rearranged my vacation activities and hit the road to watch it.
Flash forward to me in my seat with a huge popcorn and an even bigger drink and the lights go down. Do you want to know the very first thing I see?? Made by A24. What?? Is this a massive prank? He wouldn’t do this? Would he? He did. Yep, my brother sent me to my version of hell, on my vacation no less.

The movie begins and I’m totally surprised from the get-go. X is unlike any other A24 production I’ve had the displeasure of seeing. It was actually good. That is saying a lot coming from my jaded opinion.
The cast had great chemistry. (which is a good thing since they’re filming a porno) I was shocked to see Brittany Snow. (Pitch Perfect) I didn’t think she’d be able to pull off this role because all I can see is the perfect, little sorority girl singing away. I was wrong again, she played a great porno girl.
The entire movie plays and I was amused, shocked, and happy with what I saw. Once the credits were over I was even happier. I don’t want to give anything away but let me tell you, stay through them and you’ll get a happy little bonus.
One last thing, this definitely earns its R rating. Like a lot. So my recommendation is to grab your movie buddy and check X out.
Grade: B+
About The Peetimes: After watching this movie, I tossed out my final Peetime. Come to find out, you really need to see everything after the second Peetime to fully understand the film.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of X. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.

I like you was pleasantly surprised by this movie, And it had a interesting twist on who the killer was (not going to say it here) but I was thinking it had to be them, but the one thing is I am not sure if you saw it or not but the old woman in the movie is in heavy make up another woman in the movie which was interesting. Kind of sad of one part, (again not going to say it) and the thing after the credits was very interesting and you really have to stay and see it, so I do hope this movie does well as it was a rare treat
