The Watchers

The Watchers had me on the fence. It’s not as good as I was hoping it would be but it definitely wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Knowing this film was attached to the Shyamalan name I was excited because I know there are going to be things you miss and won’t understand until the end. Had I not been in that mind set, I probably would have liked it a lot better.

Dakota Fanning did a great job setting the tone of the movie, she was superb. I wasn’t familiar with the rest of the cast but it felt cohesive. They played well off of one another.

All in all, this was a decent start for Ishana Shyamalan. I’m looking forward to seeing what else she’s capable of.
