I believe everyone has the right to their personal beliefs. Whether it be devoting your life to God or whatever, it’s your personal choice and no one should feel they have the right to tell you what to think. Free will at its finest. With that being said, this movie pissed me off.
The movie itself was very well done. The acting was fantastic and the story was gut-wrenchingly sad. The movie made me cry, that tells me it touched me. It elicited a very strong emotion, so I suppose the filmmakers did their job.

This is the part that made me really think about what I was going to say. As I stated above, I feel everyone has the right to their own beliefs and shouldn’t be scorned for them. Well, if I had the chance, I’d beat James Hill to within an inch of his life with Rickey Hill’s baseball bat. That God-fearing man wasted so many damn years of his son’s life by not standing next to him and letting him pursue his dream of playing ball. This kid’s life could have been so much better had the father simply supported his son like he supported God.
I could preach on this man’s downfalls all day long but all that would accomplish is me being irritated and possibly offending someone. That’s not my goal here. I have a job to do and that is to review the movie as I see fit. I don’t recommend this movie and I do recommend it for incredibly different reasons. This has my brain discombobulated Grrrr.
Note from the reviewer’s brother: it is not hard to discombobulate her brain. 🙂

About The Peetimes: There are 3 Peetimes for you to choose from. I recommend only using the 2nd Peetime for an emergency due to the emotional charge of that particular scene.

My bladder thanks you so much!! App works great for telling u when and for how long you have a pee break! I didn’t use the timer function so the dialog in the movie was a great clue as to when to go. I also liked the info about each movie to know whether there was any extra scenes during or after the credits. Nothing worse than waiting for all the credits and then no extra scene.
