Stillwater moves at a snail’s pace. They did that for a reason. You are slowly led into Bill’s (Matt Damon) life as the rest of the movie emerged. I read a bunch of reviews before seeing it and have to say I disagree. They were mostly negative and others trashed the movie. I found it to be wonderful. I should perhaps rephrase that as wonderfully sad.
There are some lines that made the whole theater laugh, but they were few and far between. There are so many layers to the movie that intertwine to complete a very well-thought-out story and those precious few funny lines kept up the pace.
It’s not a movie that will bring you joy and laughter. It’s more like dissecting your life and figuring out where you went wrong and trying to fix it. Life is a struggle and this movie shows that in a very artistic way.

The RunPee app tells you the best times to
run & pee during a movie

About The Peetimes: We’ve got 3 Peetimes for you to use. They are spaced out nicely but I’ll caution you, the 3rd Peetime is really just for an emergency. It’s my recommendation to not leave your seat after the 2nd Peetime.
There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Stillwater. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)

This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let's you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It's really a wonderful app. I've subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn't seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!
Developers note: RunPee doesn't make much money but it supports itself nicely. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We'll add as many movies to the database as we can until there are no more movie theaters.

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.

I like how you phrased this: wonderfully sad. It’s cool to see how this movie affected you.
