I am not the target audience for the Magic Mike movies, but I’ll admit this was far better than expected, story-wise. It wasn’t just about the soft porn and sexy dancing—although, yes, there was plenty of that. The story held together and had a little bit of humor with the butler, with some nice family moments (weird, right?). All of my Peetimes avoid the dancing scenes you came to see.
This is still certainly not a family-friendly film, but for the genre, it’s a solid B. A great date film if you intend to make/have love with your co-viewer. Could be awkward for a first date, seriously. Your juices will be stirred.

Otherwise, stick to bringing your gal pals and make a night of it to toss your panties on the stage. The last part of the film is certainly a ton of fun if this is your kind of thing!
Grade: B
About The Peetimes: Unfortunately, the movie jumps right into the action, without first showing a production logo. Therefore the Start Timer Cue doesn’t happen until about four minutes into the film. If you set your timer when Mike is asked his name, you will be okay, until we have this double-checked. All Peetimes avoid the sexy and dance scenes fans will appreciate!
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
