I struggled all night about what I would say concerning Longlegs. I have to admit while I was sitting there last night that I was praying for it to be over. I couldn’t stand watching it so badly that I considered walking out. But alas, I have a job to do. It gave me a headache and put me in a bad mood.
I read a few reviews on Longlegs and I’m seeing mixed emotions. I think some of them are high on weed or something because there’s no way we were watching the same movie. It was dismal, horribly edited and just didn’t make sense. They went over the top on this artistic thing but it failed.

I’ve got one positive for this entire atrocity of a movie, Nicholas Cage. He acted the hell out of that role. He was intense and so creepy that it disturbed me. The look alone of his character was awesome and then when he spoke you were carried inside his demented mind. So kudos to Cage, you are the only positive thing in this disaster.
Grade: WTF?
About The Peetimes: I submitted 2 Peetimes for you to choose from. They will both work equally well.
There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Longlegs.

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
I agree, this was an odd movie to say the least. There was some good acting, including Nicholas Cage. Although, I have to admit, I kept waiting for Batman to show up and punch him in the face or slam his head into the table! Oh wait, he did that himself!
Worst movie ever !!!
LOL, I’m hearing that a lot. Thanks.
Horribly edited and didn’t make sense? Did we watch the same movie? There’s aspects of it that don’t make sense but movie itself makes sense. But how the hell was the editing bad? Maybe the 2 or 3 scenes with the snakes edited in but I can’t even think of anything else.
Agree that this is one of the worst movies in a long time. Nonsensical “plot” with gaping holes, generally poor stilted acting and editing and no redeeming feature’s whatsoever. An essentially cameo appearance by Cage does not get near to saving it and, in any event, is a far cry from Ledger’s Joker.
I didn’t see the movie. My sister did the Peetimes—thankfully! It sounds like the only thing worth watching is a few clips with Cage. I’ll wait for someone to upload it to YouTube in a few months and spare myself the movie. Thanks!
