Movie Review - Blacklight

blacklight_header

Yuck. I didn't like this movie at all. Let me start by saying it absolutely was not Liam Neeson's fault. He performed just like always. He's Liam. Always fun to watch because of his skillset, but even with his skills the movie was tedious, boring, and choppy.

By choppy I mean the movie starts and then it feels like we're midway through. In my opinion, they skipped the build-up like we were already supposed to know what was going on. That I will blame on editing; some needed scenes were missing.

Besides Liam, the cast sucked. Zero chemistry, boring deliveries, and unbelievable actions.

I really can't recommend this movie. I'm sorry Liam -- I hope to gosh I don't get this phone call...."But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

About The Peetimes: There are 2 great choices for you. Both were easy to sum up. Using these times will avoid missing the action scenes.

There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Blacklight. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)

Plot Travis Block is a government operative coming to terms with his shadowy past. When he discovers a plot targeting U.S. citizens, Block finds himself in the crosshairs of the FBI director he once helped protect.
