They are known to mankind as a means of knowing the will of attainable deities and have many forms: on the one hand, the world of games, betting on one’s abilities, and strategies, ingenious mathematics, and game scams, and on the other, the exciting, adrenaline-pumped world of casinos. 1. Danny’s Sidekicks (2001)

The famous movie is based on a casino heist. However, this is not the typical heist movie we are used to. The main characters are gentleman thieves who never raise their voices or argue, so it doesn’t even seem like they’re robbing for money. The film stars George Clooney as Danny Ocean, freshly released from prison and looking for a new job. He is a successful thief who participated in a dozen robberies for which he was never charged. He contacts his old partner Rusty – Brad Pitt with a plan to steal millions from not one, but three Las Vegas casinos. This app is the best wingman for a movie goer, especially when you have to go. It even has a vibrating timer that is spot on for those ‘go times’ some of us need! There are many other features that are wonderful. It even lets you know when the kill scenes are coming up for the people and animals for those who may have sensitivities to that type of content. 1. Croupier 1998

A darker film that shows the side of lawlessness that can affect the reality of casinos.

Clive Owen stars as Jack, a successful penniless writer who works as a dealer in a casino to support himself. This work is also a source of inspiration for his books, but the main character soon learns the dark side of this reality. Not just winnings, shiny worlds, and fun, but also debts, addictions, and the underworld.

  1. Stumbling (1973)

The star couple Paul Newman and Robert Redford, who have played together several times during their careers and each time with excellent results, play two con artists: one a professional and the other a beginner. Together, they make a bet on a big crime boss who likes to gamble and who is after Redford’s character because of a previous scam. Rarely do gambling films feature as many twists and turns as in The Undertaker, where a planned grand con becomes more and more complicated and the danger for both protagonists grows by the minute.

  1. The Gambler (2014)

We close our top ten with this movie starring Marc Wahlberg. The film reveals the dark side of gambling, including the dark background of the debt trap. There is humor, action, and tension in it and it deserves your viewing!
