If Hallmark ever decided to film on location in Tuscany instead of a Canadian suburb, it would look a lot like You, Me & Tuscany. That’s not a complaint — it’s exactly what this movie set out to be, and it delivers.
Director Kat Coiro, who previously gave us the warm and charming Marry Me, made the call to shoot on location in Tuscany rather than on a studio backlot, and it shows. The rolling hills and golden-hour light aren’t just pretty wallpaper — they feel like part of the story itself. Visually, this movie is a treat. The colors are rich and warm — it looks like a photograph you’d want to hang on your wall, which makes it all the more easy to get swept up in.

The acting is good across the board, and the cast is full of characters who each bring something a little different to the table. But the real engine here is the chemistry between Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page. Bailey, who has been quietly building one of the more impressive young careers in Hollywood after The Little Mermaid and The Color Purple, is completely charming. And Page — who made half the world fall for him in Bridgerton — brings that same magnetic, swoon-worthy quality here. It works every bit as well.
If you’re a fan of Under the Tuscan Sun or Letters to Juliet, this is your movie. It hits every note you’re hoping for and doesn’t apologize for it. It’s a cute, feel-good romantic comedy that does exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s all you need.
What people are saying
about the RunPee app.
This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let's you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It's really a wonderful app. I've subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn't seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!
Developers note: RunPee doesn't make much money but it supports itself nicely. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We'll add as many movies to the database as we can until there are no more movie theaters.

Plot
A free-spirited American chef and reserved British lawyer embark on a whirlwind romance during a destination wedding in coastal Italy.
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
