Together Together is undoubtedly my new favorite movie of the year. I actually felt rejuvenated and lighter when I walked out of the theater. It was fun, it was serious, it was exactly right.
Ed Helms has been a favorite of mine since The Hangover. I thought he was perfect for that role, just like this role. I can’t picture anyone else doing it better than him.

Until last night I was not familiar with Patti Harrison. She was so quirky and adorable that I came home, looked her up on IMDB and now I’ll be spending my weekend watching her. She’s just so cute.
The movie itself had a fantastic storyline. I watched the interview after the movie and thought that Nikole Beckwith really did bring her story to life.
This was a great movie; I highly recommend it and know you’ll love it.
Grade: A+
About The Peetimes: Heads up: When the lights go down the movie immediately starts with Nikole Beckwith (director) talking about the movie. She speaks for a few minutes and tells the audience to stay after the movie for a glimpse inside the actors/directors take on the film. Also, when to start your timer: As soon as the directors interview ends, the screen flashes “Bleecker Street.” That’s your cue.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Together Together. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)
Rated (R)
Genres: Comedy

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.

Agreed! Together Together is my favorite of the year as well. Probably my favorite of the last 2 years. I already pre-ordered the digital release set for May 11. Thanks as always for your reviews!

Yes! I did feel lighter! I bought it today to watch it again from home. I loved it just as much as the first time. 🙂
