They Will Kill You has a little bit of everything — but let’s be honest, the kill scenes are the main event. And there are a LOT of them.
If I had to compare this to another movie, Kill Bill is the closest match I can find. The gore, the pacing, the absolutely over-the-top fighting, the music — it all has that same electric, almost theatrical energy that made the Kill Bill movies so iconic. It’s the kind of violence that somehow becomes its own art form.

What surprised me was how well the humor balanced all the carnage. This isn’t a movie that takes itself seriously, and that’s exactly the right call. Zazie Beetz leads the charge and is every bit the action star you didn’t know you needed. Tom Felton and Patricia Arquette round things out — this is a cast that fully commits to the chaos, and it shows.
The soundtrack had this punchy, almost playful energy that made the bloodiest moments even more fun to watch, like the music was in on the joke right along with you. The camera work is equally impressive — Director Kirill Sokolov clearly has a love for turning the violence dial all the way to eleven, and the creative shot choices keep the energy from ever going flat. There’s no slow burn here — this movie hits the ground running and rarely lets up.

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! It’s so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of what’s happening while I’m gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it weren’t for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldn’t and it’s nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that it’s a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like I’m part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and you’ll be using it again and again!

Fair warning: I lost count of how many times I curled into my seat because the scenes were just that much. Not out of fear — out of sheer “Oh my God, did they really just do that?” And yes. Yes, they did.
I’ll be honest, high-octane kill fests aren’t usually my thing. But if they ARE your thing? Oh, you are going to have a field day. They Will Kill You is the perfect recipe for quirky with a generous side of “Oh God, did I just see that?”

Plot
A woman answers a help wanted ad to be a housekeeper in a mysterious high-rise in New York City, not realizing she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years and may be under the grip of a Satanic cult.
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
