M3gan was fun for the whole family. We had four generations of family front and center opening night and we all loved it. It was everything we had hoped for. Based on the trailers it looked like Chucky meets Terminator and it exactly was. Was it campy? Yes, it was. Was it predictable? Yes, it was. Did it entertain us throughout the entire runtime? It certainly did.
I especially liked the interaction between M3gan (Amie Donald) and Cady (Violet McGraw). M3gan’s face was beautiful but really creepy at the same time. I felt they did a great job on her design and makeup. In today’s technology, I thought she was CG. It wasn’t until the movie was over that I looked at IMDB and saw that it was a little girl. I’m ashamed to admit that but in my defense, darn I’ve been sitting here for ten minutes trying to come up with a defense, and I’ve got none. They got me.

Over dinner we all had fun coming up with matchups for M3gan. RunPee Mom says M3gan and Chucky would do well together. My husband’s answer was to sing, “M3gan and Chucky sitting in a tree K I L L I N G.” That got a good laugh around the table.
It was fun and we had a great time. That’s movie magic. They brought our family together and provided entertainment for us all. Those moments are priceless.
