Movie Review - Father Stu
Father Stu was so much more than I was expecting. Mark Wahlberg really nailed it. I could feel his pain and suffering and the faith that he developed. The transition that his character goes through is remarkable.
This was based on a true story, my heart goes out to this guy. At every attempt of doing the right thing, he is struck down with another obstacle again and again. Through his perseverance and faith, he still kept trying. He never quit, even when his body was quitting on him.
Anyone that needs help being strong and courageous should totally watch this movie. Anyone that is feeling beat down by life should totally watch this movie. It was very well done and had an amazing cast. Everyone shined in their own way.
My only negative thing to say is that it was quite long. It did kind of dip for a bit but they picked it back up and finished strong. Hmmm, that kind of sounds like a description of Father Stu.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
Grade: B+
About The Peetimes: I've got the Peetimes spread out enough to get you through the movie. The 2nd Peetime is traumatic so I'm definitely going to recommend that one.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Father Stu.
