The secret to RunPee’s success isn’t that we provide a unique service for a niche problem, but that RunPee is also a fun story for people to share with others. It’s the reason the RunPee user base has grown as wide as it has without resorting to paid marketing. I always tell people that word of mouth is the best advertising money can’t buy.
Share on social media
You can simply give RunPee a mention on your platform of choice, or you can choose from a number of share features I have built into the RunPee app.
- Anything Extra: share the movie poster along with the details about the extras in the movie you are watching
- I’m about to watch… near the top of the Peetimes screen is a button to share “I’m about to watch…” and the movie poster.
- Peeple’s Poll: share the results of your rating.
All of this helps spread the word about RunPee.
Share with the media
This is like sharing with your family and friends but on turbo. If you know of any media services (TV, YouTube, TicTok, blogs, podcasts, etc.) that cover entertainment news then please consider reaching out to them and suggest they cover RunPee. I’m actively looking for movie-related podcasts to join as a guest speaker. We have a media nexus page to help people learn everything they might need to publicize the RunPee app.
Write a comment on a movie review
Comments on blog posts look good for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Even if you leave only three words, it helps. Google and other search engines will notice, and our reviews will float closer to the top of the search results. That helps us spread the word about the RunPee app to new potential users.

This year (2024), the RunPee app will be 15 years old. It has undergone many updates and improvements, but the work is never done. I’m always looking for better ways to serve the RunPee fans and help improve their movie-going experience.
