Here’s a candid movie review of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie by YouTuber — and Sonic fan — Nick Robinson. [Spoiler alert: he also has some great things to say about the RunPee app near the end of the review. Thanks Nick!]
Sonic movie review video:
I’m not a Sonic fan myself, so I couldn’t judge how fans would react to the movie other than observe the audience — which generally appeared to react positively.

I agree that the movie wasn’t funny. Some of the jokes just fell flat and others, like adding the wife’s sister, were a total waste of time — other than making good Peetime fodder.
I’m shocked that the RottenTomatoes audience score for Sonic the Hedgehog is 95%, with over 2,000 votes. In early voting in the Peeple’s Poll (via the RunPee app) has the Expectation rating of 6.7 and After-movie rating of 7.9. That’s a very respectable score. On Tuesday I’ll post a breakdown of the Peeple’s Poll rating for all the new releases this week, with demographic details about this movie.
Is there anything extra during the end credits of Sonic the Hedgehog?

Couldn’t live without this app anymore. Perfect to time my run for another glass of wine or two. Works great with my smart watch.
