This is the End is, simply put, the funniest movie I’ve seen in at least the past 10 years. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a span of 3 minutes, at any point in the movie, where the entire audience didn’t laugh.
It’s hard to criticize the acting because everyone plays themselves.

Elements of the plot are laid from the very beginning of the movie but it isn’t revealed until very late in the movie exactly what the point to the story is. Suffice to say the movie comes to a satisfactory resolution that is funny and uplifting at the same time.
If there were an award for best cameo it would have to go to…I’m not going to say who it is but at the end of the movie you’re likely to say out loud, “Oh nooooo-wayyyy. That is soooo wrong.”
If I have any sort of criticism at all it’s that there wasn’t an extra scene after the end credits. This movie just begged for one more laugh. I’m choosing to think that the final minute of the movie is really the “post credit scene” that was just shown before the credits.
