You can’t ask for a better movie that appeals to children and adults alike. Marcel the Shell with Shoes On will unquestionably become an endearing favorite family movie that will be watched for generations.
The character voicing was perfect. Jenny Slate did a fantastic job as Marcel, and Isabella Rossellini was heartwarming as Nanna/Connie.

The movie is short—82 minutes not counting the end credits—but it doesn’t feel short. All of the story that needed to be told was told. Although don’t be surprised if there’s a sequel. I would love to see more of Marcel’s adventures and nieve wisdom.
Grade: A+
About The Peetimes: This is a very short movie. Only about 82 minutes of content, but every moment is poetry. I found two pretty good Peetimes. The first one has lots of scenes, but nothing plot-wise. The second one has a little plot development.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
