Movie Review – The Avengers

Read Time:57 Second

Movie Review - The AvengersFantastic movie. There was never a dull moment. The movie was 2 hours and 13 minutes — without the credits — and you’ll wish it was an hour longer. Joss Whedon managed to pack in a great deal of character development with all the action, without making it seem forced.

The action was as good as it gets. Best of all, there was plenty of humor throughout the movie with lots of chuckles, a few good laughs, and one TYHBARWL moment (Throw Your Head Back And Roar With Laughter ).

You will not be disappointed.

Grade: A+

About The Peetimes: I would recommend the second peetime at 56 minutes in. It’s an important plot scene but is fairly easy to sum up. The last peetime isn’t great but it is the very last opportunity you’ll have. Non-stop action after that.

There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of The Avengers. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)

Rated (PG-13) for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, and a mild drug reference
Genres: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

  1. […] Avengers 1 – Avengers Assemble – This movie best establishes the characters of Nick Fury and Agent Phil Coulson, who should have major roles in the Captain Marvel story. Also, this movie is a great entry point to explain who the Avengers are without having to watch every individual origin story. And there’s this: where was Captain Marvel during the Battle of New York? I’m hoping the upcoming film explains why Fury didn’t see fit contact her then, or ever, until Infinity War. […]
