Movie Review – Mortal Instruments

If you loved the book, Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, then you’ll love the movie. I base this on the fact that there was a smattering of applause at the end of the movie coming from a group of people who all sat together. They were the die-hard fans of the book, I was told.

If you have not read the book, then you may not feel like applauding, but you won’t feel like throwing up either. The story line was difficult to follow and it was dark…a lot. That said, I’m still going to give this movie a B- because those who have read the book enjoyed it and that’s a good thing.

Grade: B-
