I’m sure no one is going to be thrilled with this, but I’m shutting down access to m.RunPee.com. Sorry.
The primary reason is that I originally created m.runpee.com so that people without smartphones would have access to the Peetimes for movies. It’s a pretty crappy experience, but I thought it was a nice gesture on my part.
However, I just checked the analytics and 98% of the people using m.runpee.com are using an Android or iPhone that is fully capable of running the RunPee app. So, if you would like to continue using the service you’ll have to install the app.

The first thing to know is that of course there are options for using the RunPee app for free. You don’t have to pay a dime to use the app if you don’t want to. But, maintaining RunPee is a labor intensive, and costly, enterprise. We can’t do this for free. I would be grateful if you would consider purchasing Peecoins, or even the Infinity Peecoin, to help us out. You can read all about both options when you install the app.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. That’s a bug with the interface, but the app is actually updating the movie list. I’ll have this fixed shortly and will update the app.

Hi Sam, I’m really sorry about that. The only option is to create a paywall for m.runpee.com that works the same as it does in the RunPee app. But that would be a lot of work, and less than 200 people are using m.runpee.com with a feature phone. I’d never make back the money I spent to pay someone to create the paywall.

I still have a flip phone so can’t use the app.
The only part of m.runpee that I ever found useful was the “Anything after the credits?” part and you stopped putting info in that ages ago. Oh well.-
Hi Steven, really sorry about that. I’d make this available for free to flip phone users, if I could disable it for smartphone users. I’m afraid there’s no way to do that.

Also, we still and always have ALL the end credit details. They are RIGHT THERE, on the screen with the Peetimes. I don’t know why you don’t see that…?

My Blackberry (yes, I still have one, and can’t afford to upgrade right now) doesn’t support even a side-loaded version of the app. Guess I’m out of luck. I do appreciate your efforts and wanted to say thanks, regardless.

Hey Liz. I’m really sorry this change has cut you off from the Peetimes. It’s users like you that I created m.runpee.com for. I’m truly sorry about this. But, when you do get an Android, or iPhone, I bet I know what your first download will be. 🙂

LOL, regarding the comment about you having the best job… I’ve owned websites, traded domains & brokered website traffic. Also worked as a “New Media Producer”, front & backend web developer, content manager, and more in my role as an independent private contractor/consultant. I can’t count how many times I’ve heard similar comments about having the best job ever created.. but honestly, it’s very hectic & I’ve always felt behind, like I need to learn a new technology or skill yesterday before everything collapses! I can think of many jobs I’d rather have, but obviously have it better than many. 😉
Keep up the good work with the app!

Thanks jD. I too try to remind myself that when it feels like I can’t keep everything afloat it isn’t literal. I’m doing okay, warm bed, not hungry, companionship. A lot of people go to bed wondering how they’re going to feed their kids the next day. I have nothing to complain about.
